Notes

After making lots of Cube Things, I decided to make something with three interlinked rings all of different sizes. The nearest thing to hand was a box of Maltesers still sitting on my desk from Christmas time.

Don’t ask me why a box of chocolates needs a cover. The only answer is ‘Because it was there’.

The cover was easy. It only needs three strips of knitting - one for each direction. It does mean that you knit enough to cover the box twice over. Every side has two layers of knitting, in different colours.

I could have chosen to use the pieces in a different order. For example putting the yellow inside the green would mean more green, and less yellow, showing.

It isn’t easy to see that the three pieces are permanently linked. This video demonstrates what happens.
