I added spots to the basic pattern to create a die, using the garter ridges as a grid for the placement.

Lindapol suggested making a die, in this thread. My worry is that the strips will move round and the spots will no longer be visible. This hasn’t happened so far. It is easy to pull the strips back to the right places if they do go wrong.

Rolling the die 100 times gave these results:

1: 17
2: 13
3: 21
4: 20
5: 13
6: 16

I don’t think this is to do with it being weighted unfairly with a different number of spots on each side. It is more to do with it getting slightly squashed as you handle it.
