I never did get round to adding the border so have now published this as a free pattern. It can be knit or crochet.

I started this new afghan about a month ago. The plan was to work on my first ‘mystery afghan’ at home and use this as a carry along project.

I really hate working on two things at once and will only do it if I absolutely have to. I made about six squares for this then it got totally abandoned in favour of the other.

Three days ago I returned to my squares. I have made all the pink ones (21) and a few of all the other colours except for 4 neutral squares for the corners. The pink ones are all joined together.

There will be 14 green, 13 blue, 16 orange and 40 background.

What is it going to be?

February 13

All the ‘coloured’ squares are finished. It just needs the rest of the navy background now, and a cream-coloured post at each corner.

February 16

It is finished - but it isn’t finished. It needs another row of navy all round. The puzzle seems incomplete without it.
