This afghan is fairly small (approximately one metre square) but has taken a long time to make.

I bought the yarn then used some of it to make the Woolly Thoughts Illusion Banner so had to go and buy some more … then I had a minor op on my hand and was incapacitated for a while … then Christmas came along …

It is really very easy to make and shouldn’t have taken all that time.

We are still playing with various optical effects. This time with hexagons.
