The original pattern for my Platonic Spheres was written in 2005. I suspect I made the ‘spheres’ a long time before that. They were named by Benguin who found them highly amusing.

The tetrahedra are much less spherical than the others. They have maintained their humbug shape fairly well

One is knit, the other is crochet. I used oddments of DK yarn, tied into a large ball, for both. They are both worked in the round in a continuous spiral to make a cylinder then stuffed and stitched to make the shape.

They are about 38 cm (15”) from top to bottom.
