This is just a small sample of the alternative version included in the pattern. I have no idea what the variegated yarn is. It was something I had left over from a previous project, which was made from yarn I found, without bands, in a charity shop. I knitted the circle until the yarn ran out.

This version of the pattern has all rings the same width. You can make it as big, or as small, as you want from the information given in a simple table.

It is a fun project because of the unusual construction but probably won’t be to everyone’s liking as some parts have lots and lots of stitches and other parts have very few.
