Notes

Steve (WoolhelminaToo) designed the teddy bear’s head with the intention of using it on a baby blanket. Once I started knitting it I decided the head would look nice on a cushion. He then added a body to the head and I used that for the blanket.

The photographs show the bear on the cushion and also lying flat. The illusion is clearer on the flat version. The cushion stretches him out a bit and makes him more rounded but he is equally appealing.

You can only see the bear illusion when you look at him from an angle. When you look straight at the cushion you only see stripes.

The combined pattern for the cushion and baby blanket is available in Steve’s pattern store.
