This is based on a famous surrealist painting by René Magritte. Underneath the pipe it says Ceci n’est pas une pipe (This is not a pipe). I liked the idea of turning this into an illusion because there isn’t even a picture of a pipe if you look at it from directly in front. WoolhelminaToo designed it.

I made it at pillow size so it can either have a pillow inside or it can be mounted on a board and turned with either side outwards. The pillow I used is rather fat so the lettering is not completely flat.
