I finished with 2 yds left! I casted on 100 st, did 2x2 ribbing until it looked long enough, then did stockinette till it looked long enough. I decreased 5 times across the round on the second row of each new stripe for several stripes, then switched to 5 decreases every 4 rounds until I had 5 stitches left. I did 5 st i-cord for a few rounds, then decreased 1 and did 4 st i-cord for a few more, then decreased 1 down to 3 and did 3 st i-cord for an inch or so.

Christopher was not at all pleased to be my model, but at least I know 100 stitches would fit an almost 7 year old. Yipes! When did he get so old?
