I’ve chosen this pattern because I’ve never knitted a pocket before, so I’m learning something new.

Using 3.25mm for ribbings and 3.75mm for stocking stitch to get correct gauge.

3 rows after colorwork yoke, before splitting for sleeves.

Cast on 18 sts under each arm, for slightly more wiggle room in the body. 218 sts total body.

55 rows before start of pocket. My first attempt at a cast on for the pocket looked sloppy, so I restarted
and used this helpful video. cable cast on purlwise!

Adjust for colorwork: decreased 1st each side, to get back to required sts count of 216.

Ribbing: 10 rows.

Sleeves: Determined not to have holes under the arms on this one, so did some research and used
this helpful video, which worked like a dream, especially as I was able to knit the left and right leaning stitches together on the subsequent round, as I had ‘spare’ sts to loose to get the correct st count for the sleeves.

16 rows before started sleeve shaping, 81 rows of shaping, plus 9 rows before colorwork. Ribbing, 15 rows.

Blocked out to 44”.
Used 495g MC, and oddments of CC.
