I’m happy and honoured to be test knitting Alyssa’s first pattern. It’s an exceptionally pretty hat and I’ve chosen to make it in a combination of gray and green/ turquoise.

I adore this pattern, it’s a quick, easy knit that turned out amazingly well. The flower bud pattern looks complicated, but it’s really easy and there is a link in the pattern to a video tutorial, by Alyssa, which is excellent.

CC1: Glacier 6.5g 26m (Light green)
CC2: Canal 4.5g 18m (Medium green)
CC3: Ooak 4.5g 18m (Turquoise)

I forgot to weigh my yarn at the start, so all weights/ meterage is based on ball band information.

No mods, except I hate DPNS, so I changed to magic loop on round 6 of the decrease section.
