This has been on snooze since March 19th…I will be picking this back up hopefully by late June or so. Had to focus on a quilt for my family reunion to ensure I completed it on time and also a blanket for my dad’s birthday in July :)

SO excited for this one! My husband is Apache and Juanino and fell in love with this blanket when we saw it online.

I DO plan to not do cross-stitch for the panels. I intend on using TSS and doing the actual stitch in the coordinating color. It just makes more sense to me and seems like it would be much more sturdy this way. Should be interesting as I have never done a graphghan type project in TSS lol

1st panel finally done using TSS!! I did not work on this continually, so if this were someone’s only project one panel would not take this long obviously. I do like it better, however I just wish I would have modified the pattern to make up for the single lines diagonal lines that are left facing. I forgot how jagged they would turn out until it was too late. I may try to fix it when I am sewing in the ends, but I do not know yet. OMG the ends…it is going to take me forever!!! Honestly though, looking at this if someone didn’t want to do TSS since it is so time consuming they could do a single crochet graphgan style and it would/should turn out just the same. You will get more texture using TSS though :)
