I wanted to note this project wouldn’t take a normal crocheter as long as it has taken me. I have Crohn’s Disease and I couldn’t crochet a couple days due to my stomach and I also got a pinched nerve in my neck (fun times lol). So don’t go by how long it says it took me to make :)

I am using four different yarns for this, however I only know the color for sure to one lol. I believe I have a mixture of Caron Simply Soft and RHSS. The elephant itself is a tweed like yarn (LOVE IT). The solid colors are like nice bright Caron SS and the multi is the RHSS.

Instructions are thorough on this pattern and everything seems explained well thus far. I am a little bummed on how small it is. I’m sure I missed the measurements somewhere. Next time I will for sure make it bigger. I was thinking about extending the “dress” out a little bit to make up for it but I’m afraid it would look like something from Beetlejuice lol. This is for a newborn so hopefully they will enjoy it as a stuffed animal :)

It is incredibly easy to make so far. Amigurumi is so hard on my hands trying to be sure I pull all those stitches nice and tight and even. I stuffed the head and trunk with left over plastic grocery bags and the arms with polyfil.
