I made this with 54 stitches in the round as I was making for a 6 month old +. I followed the pattern exactly except changed my middle chevron to a darker gray to match the hugs & kisses baby blanket as this is part of a baby gift set to go with that blanket. I wish i would have taken out the top and bottom design parts on the hat in the mosaic but I wasn’t thinking. So it will be a bit of a slouch hat come next winter. I am happy with the results and love the design. It was an easy pattern to follow both either by chart or the written instructions.
