Notes

“Get clean, smell good, look cute.” It could be the motto for any toddler, n’est-ce que pas?

Here’s a simple baby gift, a week of dishcloths, with the old reliable Burt’s Bees baby shampoo and wash.

Lucia is a dirty girl, because who can be expected to keep clean when learning to walk? It’s a new life experience, and a messy business.

The washcloth benefits greatly by use of a provisional cast-on, and a Kitchener stitch finish. The Lily ‘Super Size’ version of Sugar ‘n Cream is put-up in a 3 oz./85 gram ball. Knit up on smaller needles (I used #5 US) it can yield three cloths, with just a whisper left after sewing up. Hold your breathe, cross your fingers, happy knitting.
