Didn’t realise how short the colour changes in the yarn are until I wound it into a ball. It may not be the right yarn for this pattern, but I’ll knit a few inches before I decide.

27/1/14 - 10 repeats done and just 30g left on the ball. It’s growing on me and I will finish it, but won’t be able to tell until it is blocked whether it will be big enough to be usable.

29/1/14 - finished with just 3” yarn left over after 12 repeats.

4/2/14 - Pinned it out to block and then decided to make it straighter and less bib-like so repinned. Measurements after blocking: cast off edge 33”, increase edge 39”, decrease edge 50”.
