Started this project………..will probably fit Dan when it is finished………..lol

Never knit a pattern like this before, inherited it from my mother in law, who used to make it for my own daughter many years ago. Brings back fond memories, and a deep respect for all the work she put into making them.

Here goes………..

17th March…………….Back finished………now on the second sleeve…………..terrified of the front!

Started the front………..ripped it…………started it again………….ripped it……………..started it again……………thinking I have bitten off more than I can chew……………ripped it again…………..its now looking fairly tatty…………………….

25th March……………less ripping than stitching now…………I might get the hang of this yet…………..

27th March…………….finished the pattern bit………..phew……………

learned a lot…………….

28th weaving in threads……………nearly there……….

29th March. Im finished. Delighted with the final product………..and quite surprised…………..it turned out much better than I had expected!
