I used a 5,5 mm crochet hook for the bind off to ensure a smooth fabric between sections.
I added a row of slip stitch to neatly finish the upper edge.

Note about LTS : I didn’t use the tutorial method but the one I had learned before : Yo, put the crochet hook two rows below as for a TKS, then proceed to the LTS. This method gives a different look on the back side and probably use a bit more yarn. See pictures of my red and white swatch.

1 rang de mailles coulées pour une bordure supérieure plus nette.

Brides : par réflexe j’ai fait les brides comme je les avais apprises précédemment en piquant le crochet comme pour une maille “tricot” au lieu de prendre juste les deux brins verticaux. La différence est minime sur l’endroit mais contrairement à la méthode préconisée on les voit sur l’arrière. Quand je m’en suis rendu compte j’ai continué “dans mon erreur” par cohérence. Voir les deux échantillons rouge/blanc. Cette méthode consomme sans doute un petit peu plus de fil. Il est moins grand que ce que j’aurais pensé.
