I didn’t have enough left in some colors to make the warp symmetrical, so I changed it up in the second half.

7-28-25

Wove the first washcloth.
Used white on the ends, and lime and red in between.

The warp was 16” “in the reed”. I measured it as I wove, but I forgot to write it down. Oops.

I wove until the piece measured about 15.5” under tension and then wove my hem.

No, I didn’t wash them before I hemmed them.

Yes, I machine hemmed them. Tried using hem clips to hold the hems. But it didn’t work as well as my pins do.

Started the second washcloth using lime green and sage yarns. White on the ends.

Worked on the third washcloth, which is basically lime and red with a center sage stripe.
