13.05.2017: Finally finished! This one rested a long long time until I put the last stitch down! I am quite happy. Will post the pics tomorrow.
Originally the idea was to wear the necklace in the back. But I figured it can be worn as well in the front. Anyway it is knitted on and is an integral part of the blouse.

It turns out that the top might LOOK simple, but actually it is not. The reason? I decided to integrate quite a bit of beads. This bead adventure is a challenge for me, as I wanted to slip every bead onto the knitted loop instead of having it on the thread.
This requires a lot of patience in order to finish one row. I clearly lack this patience. So new musings must be done to come up with another idea for the beads.
Ah and yes, the sleeves are going to have a lace pattern I took from the Regatta Tee by Olga Casey .

I was watching a lot of Downton Abbey lately and I am very fond of the dresses and the english they employ.
It would be so interesting, to sneak into their dressing rooms and have a closer look to their wardrobes. I am especially mesmerized by Lady Edith’s wardrobe in the 1920ies.
So I have this shibui knit linen yarn, which I planned upon for a Kim Hargreaves top. But - other ideas came up.
I want to knit a very simple top, that has a 20ies back decolté and still embrace current style.
