Fold the excess fabric in and sew down leaving space to run a set of cords through for the straps.

Still need to add straps, but will make all three sets of straps at once.

After a long hiatus I decided to ditch making a backpack style and the bags are all drawstring style. I braided three strands of the yarn together to make the cord. This could easily be done with a crochet cord instead.
