NOTES |FRANÇAIS| :

→ Tête : Woll Butt Topflappengarn + crochet 3,5mm ; cercle parfait.

→ Blanket : Drops Paris + crochet 4,5mm ; j’ai fait 2dB dans les premières et dernières mailles, contrairement à 3dB, et 2dB ensemble pour les diminutions afin d’avoir une forme correcte (sinon, la partie blanket roulait sur elle-même) ; nombre total de rangs : 33.

→ Oreilles (x2) : Woll Butt Topflappengarn + crochet 3,5mm ; j’ai ajouté 3 rangs pleins (13, 14, 15) pour un total de 16 rangs.

→ Surcouche oreilles (x2) : Drops Paris + crochet 4,5mm ; pour rappeler la couleur de la blanket sur la tête, j’ai crocheté des surcouches en orange : ch10, 1dB dans la 3ème maille à partir du crochet, 6dB, 3dB dans la dernière maille, 6dB de l’autre côté de la chaînette, 1dB dans la dernière maille (pour avoir l’effet pointu) (17), couper le fil et coudre les ovales sur les oreilles, pointes en haut.

→ Bordure : Drops Paris + crochet 4,5mm.

→ Pour pouvoir nouer les bras, j’ai dû les allonger : Drops Paris + crochet 4,5mm ; reprendre sur le côté du bras, dans le sens perpendiculaire au sens du travail original, puis ajouter 1 rang de ms et 2ml, 5dB x 8 rangs.

→ Je n’ai pas brodé le visage car j’aimais bien le résultat tel quel. De plus, avec les surcouches oranges ajoutées sur les oreilles, on comprend le sens (avant ou arrière) de la tête.

→ Le doudou fait environ 31cm de haut sur 26,5cm de large.

→ J’ai crocheté ce doudou comme cadeau de naissance pour la fille Lily de ma cousine Marie. J’ai donc fait une petite étiquette pour indiquer comment le laver : lavage main ou machine jusqu’à 40°C, pas de sèche-linge ni de produits chlorés.

→ Blanket : Drops Paris + 4,5mm crochet hook ; I made 2hdc in the first and last stitches, contrary to 3hdc, and hdc2tog for the decreases in order to have a correct shape (otherwise, the blanket part was rolling on itself) ; total number of rows : 33.

→ Ears (x2) : Woll Butt Topflappengarn + 3,5mm (E) crochet hook ; I added 3 full rows (14, 15, 16) for a total of 16 rows.

→ Ears overlay (x2) : Drops Paris + 4,5mm crochet hook ; to match the color of the blanket on the head, I crocheted some orange overlays : ch10, 1hdc in the 3rd stitch from the hook, 6hdc, 3hdc in the last stitch, 6hdc on the other side of the chain, 1hdc in the last stitch (to get the pointy effect) (17), cut the yarn and sew the ovals on the ears, points up.

→ Border : Drops Paris + 4,5mm crochet hook.

→ To be able to knot the arms, I had to extend them : Drops Paris + 4.5mm crochet hook ; take back on the side of the arm, perpendicular to the direction of the original work, then add 1 row of sc andch2, 5hdc* x 8 rows.*

→ I didn’t embroider the face because I liked the result as it was. Moreover, with the orange overlay added on the ears, the orientation (front or back) of the head can be understood.

→ The cuddly toy is about 31cm (12.2”) high and 26,5cm (10.2”) wide.

→ I crocheted this cuddly toy as a birth gift for my cousin Marie’s daughter Lily. I made a little label to indicate how to wash it : hand or machine wash up to 40°C, no dryer or chlorinated products.
