→ Une fois l’ouvrage terminé, je me suis rendue compte que je n’aimais pas ce type de châle. Rien à voir avec le modèle, qui est très bien expliqué, c’est juste que c’était la première fois que je crochetais un châle asymétrique et l’effet plus long d’un côté me dérangeait. De ce fait, je ne trouvais aucun moyen correct de le porter.

→ Pour essayer de pallier ça afin de pouvoir quand même le porter, j’ai plié l’un des côtés pour avoir une forme la plus triangle isocèle possible puis je l’ai cousu. Le résultat me plaisait un peu plus mais le châle avait perdu beaucoup de sa longueur. J’ai donc cousu un bouton à l’extrémité repliée afin de le passer dans une maille de l’autre extrémité et qu’il puisse tenir autour du cou.

→ Le fil Duo Cotton de Katia est un peu rêche et rend le châle lourd à porter malgré le point ajouré. Cependant, il est agréable à travailler.

→ Le châle mesure environ 110cm de long sur 36cm de haut.

→ Once I’d finished the work, I realized that I didn’t like this type of shawl. Nothing to do with the pattern, which is very well explained, it’s just that it was the first time I’d crocheted an asymmetrical shawl and the longer effect on one side bothered me. As a result, I couldn’t find the right way to wear it.

→ To try and make up for this and still be able to wear it, I folded one of the sides to make it as isosceles-triangle-shaped as possible, then sewed it. I liked the result a little more, but the shawl had lost a lot of its length. So I sewed a button to the folded end so that I could pass it through a stitch at the other end so that it would stay around the neck.

→ Katia’s Duo Cotton yarn is a little rough, making the shawl heavy to wear despite the openwork stitch. However, it is pleasant to work with.

→ The shawl is about 110cm (43.3”) long and 36cm (14.2”) high.
