Notes

NOTES |ENGLISH| :

→ I crocheted these tawashis to give to my mom for Christmas.

→ I used two strands of the Zeeman thread using both ends of the same ball so the round would have good tension and lie flat with the 3,5mm (E) crochet hook.

→ Funny Scrub thread is not very pleasant to crochet for the hand that holds the thread, it looks like the texture of Christmas tinsel. Also, this is the first time I’ve crocheted this type of thread (so I don’t know about the others), but it loses its little “hairs” easily when crocheted. Be sure to give it a good sweep after crocheting !

→ I made 2 tawashis of 5 rows, 2 tawashis of 4 rows and 2 tawashis of 3 rows for a total of 6 tawashis.

→ A tawashi of 3 rows is about 6,5cm (2.6”) in diameter. A tawashi of 4 rows is about 8,5cm (3.3”) in diameter. A tawashi of 5 rows is about 10cm (3.9”) in diameter.
