→ J’ai réalisé ce châle pour ma grand-mère maternelle.

→ Après échantillon, un crochet tunisien de 6mm donnait des mailles ni trop serrées ni trop lâches.

→ Je me suis inspirée du projet de NikkiGHouse pour connaître le métrage de fil à acheter pour une taille équivalente, soit environ 800 mètres. Composée de 75% d’acrylique et de 25% de laine peignée, une pelote de 45 grammes possède 167 mètres environ. J’ai utilisé 4,2 pelotes, soit environ 701 mètres.

→ Les explications sont super simples à suivre avec les tableaux, les schémas et les annexes. Cependant, il faut rester très concentré pour ne pas faire d’erreurs dans les motifs. Au moins, on ne s’ennuie pas !

→ C’est mon 2ème patron de Rachel Henri et j’aime toujours !

→ Le motif est très joli, c’est original qu’il se crée au moment du rang retour.

→ J’ai appris 2 nouvelles façons de faire des augmentations : en début de rang aller et pendant le rang retour.

→ J’ai répété les rangs 21 à 30 quinze fois pour un total de 180 rangs.

→ Pour le rang de fermeture en mailles serrées, j’ai utilisé un crochet classique 5,5mm.

→ J’ai aimé crocheter ce châle mais c’était interminable avec ce fil !!!

→ Une fois le châle terminé, je l’ai lavé à la main avec de l’eau tiède et de la lessive Eucalan. Je l’ai ensuite bloqué avec le kit Knit Pro Lace Blocking Mats et des épingles.

→ Le châle mesure environ 115,5cm sur 90cm sur 147cm.

→ I made this shawl for my maternal grandmother.

→ After sampling, a 6mm tunisian crochet hook gave stitches that were neither too tight nor too loose.

→ I was inspired by NikkiGHouse’s project to find out how much yarn to buy for an equivalent size, equivalent to approximately 800 meters. Composed of 75% acrylic and 25% combed wool, a 45-gram ball has approximately 167 meters. I used 4,2 balls, equivalent to approximately 701 meters.

→ The explanations are very easy to follow with the tables, diagrams, and appendices. However, you have to stay very focused to avoid making mistakes in the patterns. At least it’s not boring!

→ This is my second pattern from Rachel Henri, and I still love it!

→ The pattern is very pretty, and it’s original to create it on the return row.

→ I learned two new ways to increase stitches: at the beginning of the forward pass and during the return pass.

→ I repeated rows 21 to 30 fifteen times for a total of 180 rows.

→ For the closing row in single crochet, I used a standard 5,5mm crochet hook.

→ I enjoyed crocheting this shawl, but it took forever with this yarn!!!

→ Once the shawl was finished, I washed it by hand with lukewarm water and Eucalan detergent. I then blocked it using the Knit Pro Lace Blocking Mats kit and pins.

→ The shawl is about 115,5cm (45.5”) by 90cm (35.4”) by 147cm (57.9”).
