I decided to do this in the round with a 5-stitch steek (I probably could have gotten away with 3 stitches but I shudder at the thought of how that once went very wrong). I’ve been curious about needle-felted steeks so I did a little swatch first to make sure the yarn would felt.

I did the I-cord edging and hand-sewed the steek reinforcement before I blocked it then cut the steek.

Mods: I did a 2x2 rib instead of garter edge; and I did 26 repeats because I wanted to make it more like a ruana.
