Hook: G or 6 4.25mm

Used fsc for starting row; with the varigated yarn it keeps the ch color and the st color together nicely.

Did an extra pattern repeat (68). With repeats as written the color variations in the yarn lined up into stripes which did not look at all pleasing with the lace pattern. This way they meander through it rather randomly, which looks much nicer to me. Took care to line up the color changes in the yarn from one skein to the next when joining in the 2nd skein.

Added beads to the edging; 3 per scallop. Used a 1.0mm steel hook to put beads on one at a time over the sp btwn the 1st 3 sts of scallop instead of making ch; plain ch btwn last sts. Czech glass 6/0 seed beads silver lined purple, 30 on each end of scarf.
