A birthday gift to my husband’s niece :)

No button closure.
Tunic length (maybe a bit extended? it depends on yarn amount :)

I lenghtened the skirt up to 36 cm from the underarm - maybe it will be a kind of short dress for now and a tunic in spring? :)

I decided to make an afterthought pocket as I wasn’t sure whether I was able to follow the pattern instruction for sewn-on pocket (I’m not good in sewing, sigh…) and added crocheted apliques for which I used freeform technique (hurray for me! it’s a debut). Not sure whether they really resemble plums?… LOL

Used i-cord BO, I just love how it turns out! I-cord is made of 2 sts as that’s enough for worsted weight yarn IMO.

To prevent straps and bodice edges from stretching, I crocheted sl-st edging.

Anyway, it is yarn that makes this dress look good, isn’t it? :)
