Notes

Used skein on the left for the shawl.

Finished dimensions were 49 inches long and 18 inches deep. It’s a little smaller than I wanted (and I even went up a needle size!), but it’s still a good size to wear as a scarf, which is nice.

I was actually planning to add more repeats to the stockinette section, but lost my nerve when the pattern specifically said it required 350 yards. Since I finished with almost a quarter of my 350-yard skein leftover, I could certainly have added an extra four or eight rows to the stockinette portion, but oh well.

Overall I’m quite pleased with it (photos to come).

One note thought: For the lace border (which is quite simple) I would recommend reading both the written instructions and the chart, because they aren’t quite the same. Also, you might need to eyeball where to start the leaves in each row so that they all line up. This isn’t that hard, but it helps to know that using the chart alone will not make your leaves line up.
