Notes

These were so much fun to make.

I used the “Two-Circular” needle method. The directions are written for Double Pointed Needles.

A very Special Thanks to agilmour for her help with grafting instructions for the cuff.

Thank you to the group Kilt Hose and Flashes for their instructive KAL thread for He’Mo Leanan Kilt Hose. If you’re knitting these hose and have questions… peruse that thread.

;-)

Notes to self:

  1. When picking up stitches for picot round, less is more. Don’t add too many stitches, or the picot round will curl outward instead of sitting flat.

  2. When choosing length, remember that the front panel chart must include the “cable terminations” and that process is about an inch and a half. Factor that into the length, or the sock leg will be too long.

  3. Make sure that all of your cable charts are simultaneously on an even or an odd row. Actually? I would turn the “divider knit stitch pattern” on the working row too, and slip on the even or “resting” rows. Then you don’t have to think “twist or slip?”. Twist on the active “Working” row.
