Super fun! I just finished the first sock, and it looks great. The knitting started off kind of boring, with lots of stockinette, but the ankle/heel/leg parts were fun to do. The best part was trying it on and realizing, it worked! It fit! And it looks awesome. :) I loved the short-row shaping at the end to make the crooked pattern straight.

p.s. One sock didn’t even use up a full ball of yarn, so I have enough left over to make a tiny baby hat, maybe preemie or newborn size at least. Or maybe some baby booties…

Finished now, and SOOO happy with how they turned out. They’re a little hard to pull on over my heels, but fit wonderfully once they’re in place. And they’re super happy-making!
