I had a TERRIBLE time starting. I restarted many times before finally “getting it.” I kept adding stitches without meaning to - I finally figured out that I was doing a yarn over stitch on the circular needle cord at the start of every round.

I had to change needles because I knitted too tightly for the gauge

The directions at the end of the pattern did not give enough details for the magic loop - the video was not clear either.

I am most comfortable knitting English but have tried Continental as I worked the foot. I also crochet and Continental makes sense to me as more efficient, but I prefer the movement of throwing English style: Should I Learn English or Continental Ways of Knitting? Or Both?

Love the sock ruler I recently purchased from A Needle Runs Through It I like the bind off from the ruler on the second sock better than the Russian bind-off I tried on the first sock. And, I had to frog the cuff on the Russian bind-off sock because I couldn’t put it on because the edge wasn’t stretchy enough! Did the ruler bind-off on both socks!
