Original pattern was on size 6 needles and started with casting on 35.

Since I’m knitting with size 5 needles, I cast on 45.

• Skein 1 done June 6: 128 rows, 5760 stitches (wow!) 18 inches long. I don’t think I will need 5 skeins for a 60 inch long scarf after all.

• October4 I’m done knitting and weaving in the ends!!! I ended up using only 3 skeins…the scarf is now 53” long. Since it’s for a man, I don’t think it should be too long. How long will it take to dry??

October 6, 2010 Done! It took about 2 days to dry…I love it! This fiber is very, very soft. Just lovely.
