Wow…so many strings/cords to keep track of:

• Circular needle cord
• Stitch savers A and B
• Raffia

It’s much easier if I knit English rather than continental because of the stitch saver wrapping at the start of each row.

The stitch saver started upside down, I think. I was able to pull it out and put it back in the correct way.

As I work on the strip, I no longer think the stitch saver was upside down. I think I started with the long side of the stitch saver at the top. I preferred to have shorter ends at the top where I was wrapping, pulling up more stitch saver as I needed it.

I also realized I put in stitch markers too soon, but it helped me learn how to put on the markers, so that’s good!

Knitting with raffia is trickier than crocheting with it - I have to take care not to tear the raffia with the tips of the knitting needles.

The bottom was tricky! Switching to continental seemed easier to do the wraps on the bind off. So thankful for the video. Raffia sticks to the stitch saver cord, so sliding ndlA back on after the first bind off was rough. I wonder if knitting continental also made me knit tighter. Took me 50 minutes to watch the video and do the first two rows of the bottom
