This crocheted mini purse may be for a gift card or small gift.

I tried first with natural palm leaf raffia but the strings are so short, it’s a mess of ends to weave in on the back.

I restarted multiple times as I got used to working with the shiny raffia. Crocheting a half circle with just the written directions was difficult for me - I found this video that helped me visualize better how it should go: Crochet Bits Crochet Semicircle Pattern

I also changed the flap pattern to try to make the openings more symmetrical. That opened up a middle space to add a small button.

sc, dc, ch1, sk1, 2dc, 2dc, ch1, 2dc, 2dc, ch1, sk1, dc, sc

I learned how to crab stitch with this project. It took me a few hours to complete.
