I bought the XXL Udon kit from weareknitters.com on sale. I realized after the first 5 skeins were done that I was actually following the Dragonfly kit directions that I had done the summer before for a friend’s baby - whoops.

The blanket was not large enough for our tall family after the first 5 skeins.

Ordered Honey and Natural for the next 5 skeins…loved the stripes but still not long enough.

WAK was out of Honey yarn, so I decided to order 5 Natural Skeins to have Honey and Natural ends to the blanket.

Now it is long enough…My husband is 6’4” and he is well covered! This was also the winter I was on one-foot, so I included a crutch in the picture.

This blanket did cost me a small FORTUNE. So, we are calling this the Heirloom Blanket. I told my daughter it must stay in the family forever!
