02/06/10 — Aw. Found out that this hat is too small for its intended recipient so it may go to someone else. But now I need to make another beanie for my sister’s boyfriend since I promised him a hat! So off I go to search for a pattern for a bigger hat.

01/22/10 8:42 PM — Finished! I worked in 2×2 rib for 2 inches and then in stockinette until it was just past 5” long (instead of the 5.5” indicated in the pattern). I washed it and, so far, it looks like the length is right on! We’ll see tomorrow. Also? I really like this yarn! It felt a little fuzzy/cheap when I first started the project but I soon grew to really like it.
