01/24/10 3:57 PM — Whoa. I’m already finished. That’s 2 hours for one ribbed beanie with a cable twist at the top! It came out slightly long but the boyfriend actually really likes it this way. He pushes the hat away from his forehead (towards the back of his head) and it creates a slight slouch. Looks quite fashionable! ;) Look at the photos to see how he wears it.

01/23/10 — Spent 6 hours manually winding the ball so that it’s double-stranded. (I don’t have bulky weight yarn… so I’m holding two strands of worsted weight yarn together. From one skein.) Then I kept casting on 74 stitches instead of the called for 72 stitches. (Don’t ask me why.) So I’ve put it away for tomorrow.
