6/17/16 Blocked, seamed and done!

6/15/16 I blocked this a couple of weeks ago but have since gotten new blocking mats and my first set of blocking wires. So, since the edges came out a little uneven the first time, I’m reblocked it today and it’s now drying (again). Blocking did completely remove any stockinette curl, so I think it will look really nice when it’s sewed.

6/2/16 Bound off both ends! Now to block and seam.

5/29/16 4th skein done--52-53”.

5/26/16 3rd skein done--38-39”.

5/24/16 2nd skein done--26”. It’s about 27-28” wide.

5/22/16 1st skein came to about 13” long.

5/20/16 Cast on using a chain crochet provisional cast on. The recipient would like it to be 3-4” wider and longer than stated in the pattern. Given that I’m using worsted weight yarn instead of DK and my gauge is about 4.5 sts/“ instead of 5, I only cast on 10 extra sts. Should be fine. I’m not sure how the edges of this thing aren’t going to curl like crazy, but we’ll see! The color is pretty.
