Used old machine knitting yarn, and a couple of small balls of Drops baby alpaca, from stash.

I loved the construction of this shawl, and really enjoyed working on it - at least the first half of it! The larger sections seemed to go on forever. I decided to finish after section 11, as I was happy with the size, but completely fed up with knitting garter stitch. Perfect TV knitting though!
