Flew through most of these mittens while on holiday in Copenhagen. The cable and leaf pattern is the same as the ivy trellis socks I made at the start of this year, so I found it easy to re-memorise the charts.

I was worried they were coming out too small (and I have really small hands) but I got them to fit nicely once blocked, which also really helped the look of the pattern.

I think I maybe could have gone down a needle size on the ribbing, and I should have redistributed the stitches on the needles before grafting at the end as it is not in line with the edges of the mitten. The finished mittens are really nice to wear and I’m looking forward to my next project from this book.
