Managed to find just the colours I was looking for already in my stash - using brown & taupe held double for the back, taupe & off white for the front, taupe & baby alpaca silk in pink/grey for the ears, off white held double for the tail and neck, and taupe held double for the nose.

Finished the from the nose down the back to the tail, and one of the ears. I actually did the second ear but had to rip it out because I picked it up between the wrong markers…

Finished this morning. I don’t really enjoying sewing but I got through it, with a few extra stitches to try and sculpt the face a little more - aiming for a realistic looking animal makes it a lot harder I think.

Lovely little pattern and the yarn I found in my stash turned out to be the perfect colours.
