Gauge:

• 3 sts x 1 row = 1” in DC
• 4 rounds = 4” in pattern
• First 6 rounds = 12” diameter

My throw ended up 48” in diameter instead of 54”. I thought it might grow after washing but it did not. I am also a pretty loose knitter and crocheter so I figured it was pretty unlikely that my gauge was smaller than the pattern’s, but I was mistaken.

I totally forgot to make sure that my increases were aligned on each round. I didn’t notice until I was on round 21 out of 24 or else I would have gone back and fixed it.

This was a very quick project and only took a couple of days to complete.

Since my friend Simone has the same navy couch as me, I am gifting this afghan to her and I will make another one for myself. It also looks wicked cute on her mustard couch.
