Starting
I selected yarn from my stash based on tips in the pattern. I tried to stick with mostly-solid colors with high contrast for interest. I make black and white photos to help me discern the level of contrast. I’m good at combining color, but not always good at seeing contrast.

I buy a lot of multi-colored yarns for blending, which is something I enjoy doing, so despite my embarrassingly giant stash, choosing was difficult.
