I saw this pattern called Granny Circles by Carolyn Christmas in a book called Creative Crochet #102664 a Leisure Arts publication from 1996. It really caught my eye because it looked so bright and cheery. Well, I just had to make it…..I felt happy just looking at it (>‿◠) I made it bigger than the pattern called for in the book by just adding on a few more rows of Granny Circles. I ended up doing half Granny Circles all around the outside of the afghan to give it a square edging all around so that it would lay flat. For the Border Edging Trim I crocheted Pineapples all around for that special final touch (✿◠‿◠)
Its big enough to hang over the sides of a Queen size mattress about halfway.
