4 - fpdc in 2 st, incr in the next (40)
5 - fpdc in 3 st, incr in the next (50)
6 - fpdc in 4 st, incr in the next (60)
7 - fpdc, dc around (60)
8 - dc in previous fpdc, fpdc in previous dc
9 - fpdc in previous dc, dc in previous fpdc
repeat rows 8 and 9 until just shy of desired length

I did 14 rows before the ribbed band.

15 - hdc around (60)
16 - fpdc, bpdc around (60)
17 - fpdc in fpdc, bpdc in bpdc
18 - sc around (60)
