Notes

I was looking for a square design to knit my dad a lapghan, and the Kinzel’s 1953 Azalea pattern came up in the search results.

I knew Azalea was hexagonal, but there was Sihaya’s Autumn Leaves, knitted using 4 repeats instead of 6!

Since I wanted a more solid fabric, I used backwards-loop increases instead of yarnover ones at the centers of the leaves.

Started on 4.0mm needles, switched up to 5.0mm ones.
