My second pair of ‘Sister Socks’ by Bitsy Cohen from Issue 3 of Yarn magazine.

This pair took me…umm…just over two years all up. I am such a procrastinator! Bad me!

The pattern uses an afterthought or peasant heel. Socks are knit cuff first, waste yarn placed for heel and then knit down to the toe. The heel is knit last.
