Notes

MODS:

  • I left out the diamond stitch pattern. I thought it would get lost in the colorway.
  • I started the heel flap after 5 cable crosses instead of 6.

I love these socks! So many times I fall in love with a yarn, only to be disappointed when it’s all knit up. That’s partly due to how the yarn knits up and partly due to the pattern I picked. Well, I did it right this time…the right yarn and the right pattern. Perfect!

The cables are big enough to keep from getting lost in the colorway. So few cables make this a super quick knit! I thought the cables were a bit more random from the pattern pic but it’s just 2 different cables, alternated. I’ve never used a cable needle to cross my cables but you will definitely need one for the second cable. I even needed it for the first cable on the left sock.

06/18/10 - Knitting done! I love ‘em! By far my favorite socks!

06/15/10 - Super quick! One sock down.

06/14/10 - Well, I had to frog the 2-at-a-time socks, they were way too big. This pattern is exactly what I was looking for. Almost done with the right leg.
