03/29/09 - DONE!! It fits perfectly! If it weren’t for Emily, this probably would have been a total loss but she helped me work thru the reshaping of the armholes. And now I LOVE it!

03/28/09 - So I blocked this like a week ago and am just now getting around to trying it on. OMG!!!! I love it. It fits PERFECTLY! I was able to get some yarn from Bich-thu and there was enough for the button band with some to spare. I just need to sew the buttons on now!

Hmmm - 6 skeins should have been more than enough based on the weight of the sweater which means that the yardage on the ball band was wrong/really short. Weight/yardage before buttons were sewn on.

03/21/09 - Ok - reknit and fits much better! Now - I need more yarn. I won’t have enough for the button band. So it will be on hold until then.

03/18/09 - The armpits are just way too snug. I’m going to frog back down to the armpits and reknit.

03/17/09 - I had a huge setback on this. I realized that I had put my sleeves on incorrectly (not centered). And of course this was when I was almost thru a whole skein. Well - now back on track.

03/14/09 - More than half done with this. Almost done with the first sleeve. I love the yarn but am really disappointed with the dye lots. I bought them at the same store and they have the same dye lot numbers but you can see where every new skein starts (3 different dye lot patterns). :-(

03/10/09 - I’m one skein into this sweater and I LOVE IT! The yarn is so soft and is knitting up so lovely. I can’t wait to see how this looks. So far, I’ve got about 5.5 inches with one skein.
